What’s next after our test net launch?
A couple of days back we released our testnet alpha 0.0.1 & the Koala Faucet which allowed users to mint some tokens and try out our platform on the Avalanche FUJI Testnet. We are overwhelmed by the response, love, and advice we’ve got from our community. Today, we’d like to discuss what’s next after this for Koala.
1. Bug Fixes, Speed, and The Graph
Since the testnet release, we’ve been busy with our heads glued to our screens working on various bug fixes and improving the efficiency of the platform.
Instead of working on our own indexing server, we would be using The Graph API for fast, secure, reliable, & decentralized indexing. When using The Graph, all our data will be stored and processed on open networks with verifiable integrity.
2. Mobile UI & wallet support
The first version was a desktop-only version & luckily now a lot of mobile wallets support RPC AVAX. We will soon be integrating a mobile wallet while our designers build a sleek responsive design for the platform.
3. Tests and rewards
We aim to achieve 100% test coverage for the project through more test cases and also planning to launch a reward for initial testers (UPDATE: The rewards for initial testers will be in the form of a bug bounty program which is soon to be announced).
4. Security Audit
To make sure that Koala is a platform that is safe & secure for its users our team has initiated talks with third-party firms that have a good experience of security audits to get our smart contracts audited for any security loopholes.
5. Referrals & Staking
We’re also currently building two new modules within the product — referrals & staking.
If you love our product & help us spread the word, we will make sure that you are adequately rewarded! For this, we are building a referral module where our users will get rewarded for referring us to their friends and family.
Very soon, you will also see an option on the platform where you can stake Koala tokens to gain even more positions while placing your predictions
